Anything that occupies a physical space is fair game in this section. Painting, drawing, sculpture, and whatever mixes my brain comes up with.

There's no one medium I stick to here. The project decides. Some pieces need canvas, some need watercolor paper, some need pencil and nothing else, and some need a pile of materials that don't normally belong together.

Sometimes it works the other way around. The material shows up first and the project comes out of it. That's where most of the matboard paintings came from. I had the surface in front of me and it told me what it wanted to be.
