I seem to exist in this strange state of mind that separates standard internet practices from my everyday consciousness. A prime example of this is coupons. If I’m looking for a deal online, I spend an unseemly amount of time looking for coupon codes and product incentives. (btw my favorite promotion code site is RetailMeNot) In fact, I’m one of those people that gets very excited when I can combine promotions for an even better deal. (example #987 of the True Nature of Geekdom)
Oddly, this deal searching hyperactivity never seems to extend to … the Real World…
Well step back, because that’s all about to change! A few days ago, I joined the Michigan Coupon Club and now I’m on the prowl.
I’ve got my binder ready, and my scissors warmed up. Manufacturers and cashiers beware, this is one bird that’s looking for in-store deals!
